I’ve spent a short time here after attending Avatar Residential Detox Center and have absolutely nothing but all good things to say about both programs. Avatar detoxed me perfectly where my withdrawal symptoms after detox were very minimal. I then came here to Avatar Behavioral Health for a short while because I had to go to work and the staff here are very encouraging in you and your Recovery Process. They respect boundaries and any PTSD and trauma you have faced in the past and try to teach you skills to combat it when it arises again because it usually does. This program is very thorough and tight-shipped and I would recommend it to anyone that has any severe mental health issues, PTSD or trauma issues that have been holding them back in life or has been the reason for your relapsing. You don’t have to do it alone and you have a choice of getting clean with a fresh start here! Last but surely not the least… if It ain’t an Avatar Treatment Facility, it just ain’t right for you!!! Avatar is the only place I would highly recommend to anyone especially compared to every other garbage facility around here. And this is coming from somebody that drove all the way from Wyoming just to come here and has been through his fair share of treatment facilities. I have a friend that went through the Avatar detox and residential program before attending the behavioral health treatment facility, and they raved about Avatar from the moment they walked in until they extended their time at Behavioral Health Center. He wanted more time with the staff there that were making a difference in his life! To me that speaks volumes as to the care and treatment he was receiving. He said it's a smaller group than what you see in typical rehabs and they focus more on trauma and indepth reasons as to why addicts and alcoholocs behave and how their mental health plays a part in their addiction.
